Front man and principle songwriter Mark De Rose began performing on a dare while studying in Salamanca, Spain. He brings a relaxed vocal style reminiscent of a young James Taylor while his guitar parts are enriched with the melodicism and energy of bluegrass. Guitarist B.J. Block provides shimmering melodic rhythm parts and blues-infused solos that give the band a rock edge. Bassist Shannon Chwialkowski and drummer Mikey Lawrence have proved to be an unstoppable rhythm section, responsible for exciting crowds - a common occurrence at Ernest Goodlife shows.
