Band: Life After Work

Act BioThis four piece band features great song selection, and dynamic stage presence. Bob Bechtel, the bassist, and drummer Ralph Donmoyer have played together for two decades. Lead guitarist, Mad Max Naylor, joined that duo seven years ago. In October, 2007, Jeff McGaw, a solo artist playing the tavern circuit in Central Pa., and a former member of a band with Naylor, joined the newly formed band. The long and interesting search for a new band name finally ended near Christmas 2007 when Naylor found a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon in the local newspaper. The cartoon featured a horse playing the electric guitar next to the Christmas tree on Christmas as two young kids stared on in disbelief. Said one to the other, "I don't think Santa knew what we meant when we asked for a "Rocking Horse."
