| Act Bio | Shakedown Cruise is a four man Rock band based in Pasadena Maryland. We formed in 2003 when Kelly & Ric decided it was time to shake the dust off the amps and start rockin’ again. A shakedown cruise, by definition, is an operation where a new ship tests its systems. By putting the band together, we did exactly that …. And continue to with each show.
Although our best material is hard, heavy, ass-kicking Classic Rock & Metal, we are very diverse. Some of our material features acoustic tunes, and even a few with Ric on Sax. We are not afraid to take requests on the spot. We cover songs from the 70’s through today with an ocassional original tune thrown in.
SDC comes complete with our own PA system and professional gear. We are available to play private parties, clubs, Dock Bars, back yard Bar-b-ques …. You name it.
